The Slocan Valley Threads Guild now has a group page on Ravelry. To be a part of the group you will need to sign-up for a Ravelry Membership which is free.

SVTG Members participate in    by knitting or crocheting purple hats. Bring your completed hat to the next general meeting. Click Image to enter CLICK for Babies WEB page, where you choose Knit 1 for patterns or use your own pattern. CLICK for Babies is a North America initiative to help educate caregivers about normal infant crying, how to cope with crying and the dangers of reacting to crying in frustration by shaking or harming an infant.  

The Slocan Valley Threads Guild is supported by the wonderful work of the Slocan Valley Community Arts Council. 

Slocan Valley Recreation offers many great courses for fibre arts enthusiasts (and a lot of other things too).

Selkirk College, located in Castlegar, BC mail out twice a year to all West Kootenay and Boundary regions a catalogue of courses which include fibre related Learning.

Fiber Arts.org is an internet hub which supports Guilds like ours.
